Mary F. Platt, Esquire has joined Fineman Krekstein & Harris, P.C. as Of Counsel to the firm. Ms. Platt brings over 35 years of experience to the firm, focusing her practice on complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Platt has represented clients in litigation matters involving contract claims, shareholder and partner disputes, antitrust claims, intellectual property, restrictive covenants, trade secret misappropriation, consumer protection and unfair competition claims, employment claims, real estate and environmental issues, insurance coverage, construction disputes, toxic tort and product liability claims, and attorney malpractice claims.
Ms. Platt has played many leadership roles in the Philadelphia legal community. She is Assistant Treasurer of the Philadelphia Bar Association and serves on its Board of Governors and in the Chancellor’s Cabinet. She has held several leadership positions at the Philadelphia Bar Association, including chair of the Law Practice Management Division, and chair of the Federal Courts, City Policy and Women in Profession Committees. She has served on Bar committees that have commented on proposed amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mary served for several years as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Women’s Law Project, a non-profit focused on advancing the rights of women and girls, and volunteers for a number other non-profit organizations.
