Firm attorney Lee Applebaum’s article “The Commerce Court’s First Decade”, was published in the April 2009 edition of The Philadelphia Lawyer, the magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Applebaum is a leading local and national authority on Business Courts, and co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Subcommittee on Business Courts. This article on his hometown business court describes the history and development of Philadelphia’s Commerce Court, and the integral place it has now taken in the City’s legal and business community.

Also his Letter to the Editor commenting on the article “How Did Lawyers Enable the Meltdown” was published in the April 2009 American Bar Association Journal. The ABA Journal has a circulation of nearly 275,000, and it is estimated that as many as one half of the nation’s lawyers read this magazine. He appreciates that the editors believed his observations were worth publishing to the nation’s lawyers.
