Lee Applebaum, partner at the law firm of Fineman Krekstein & Harris P.C., was recently a speaker at the second annual meeting of the American College of Business Court Judges, held at the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C. Applebaum is a nationally recognized expert on specialized state business courts, and was invited for a second consecutive year to address these judges.
A long-time litigator, Applebaum is chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Litigation Committee. He is also vice-chair of the Business Courts Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Business and Corporate Litigation, and works to support national efforts in developing business courts.
Applebaum co-authored a definitive article on business courts in The Business Lawyer, which is circulated to approximately 60,000 attorneys nationwide. He is the co-author and chapter editor of the business courts section in an annually published American Bar Association book updating national business law developments, and writes regularly on a variety of legal subjects.
Applebaum is a resident of Lower Merion, Pa.
