Jim Rosenstein, a dean of Pennsylvania’s alternative dispute resolution Bar, received the Sir Francis Bacon Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee at the PBA’s Annual Meeting, held on May 13, 2010.  The Sir Francis Bacon Award recognizes an individual’s significant contributions in bringing mediation and other forms of dispute resolution to Pennsylvania.

Jim is the immediate past president of the national Association for Conflict Resolution, and has held leadership positions in the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, the Commercial Sector of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution and the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, among others.  He has written and spoken widely on alternative dispute resolution and been honored over the years with awards and recognition for his skill and service.
