Scott C. Mahoney

Mr. Mahoney regularly counsels businesses in all aspects of corporate law and has represented numerous corporate clients in a wide variety of day-to-day legal issues. In this role, he provides legal guidance on entity formation, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, buy-sell agreements, licensing agreements, employment agreements, complex business acquisitions and dispositions, financing matters and drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements related to business.

Mr. Mahoney frequently represents his clients in connection with the purchase and sale of real estate. His real estate experience includes: (i) drafting, negotiating and reviewing a vast array of real estate transactional documents, including commercial and retail leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, subordination agreements and indemnity agreements; and (ii) managing commercial development/finance due diligence.

Mr. Mahoney also advises his clients on preparing and implementing individual estate plans and business succession arrangements. In this role, he provides advice and prepares wills, trusts, power of attorney, healthcare directives, living wills and prenuptial agreements. Mr. Mahoney also handles all aspects of estate administration and probate.
