Lee Applebaum, a litigation partner at Fineman, Krekstein & Harris, was a panelist at the October meeting of the Conference of Chief Justices held at the University of Delaware.

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference addressed “Business Courts – What Works Best?” Applebaum spoke on how ADR works best in business courts, which was among a full day’s presentation that had a range of topics, also including the scope of business court jurisdiction, and wrapping up with how performance standards should be applied to business courts, topics on which he contributed to the dialogue.

Applebaum is nationally recognized for his expertise on state business courts, having written numerous articles, consulted on the creation of business courts, and spoken extensively on the subject to judges, lawyers, legislatures and executives from across the country.

On November 16th, for the fourth consecutive year, he addressed the American College of Business Court Judges during its annual meeting at Northwestern University Law School. His wealth of experience and contributions were acknowledged when the College’s Board unanimously voted to make him an honorary charter member of the College.
