Firm attorney Lee Applebaum, Vice-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Section, was among leaders from state and city bar association business law sections from across the country who were invited to attend the 2009 Business Bar Leaders Conference held in Chicago on May 12-13, 2009. The Conference was sponsored by the American Bar Association’s Committee on State and Local Bar Relations. In addition to participating in the Conference with the other bar leaders on dealing with issues of leadership, participation and the economy, Mr. Applebaum, also Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Subcommittee on Business Courts, was on the panel, Business Courts: What Works Best and Why?, discussing a topic on which he is a national expert. He authored and provided the materials for that panel.
