FIRM OBTAINS REMAND OF ZONING DECISION
In the case of North
Chestnut Hill Neighbors v. Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Philadelphia
and Woodmere Art Museum, 928
A.2d 418 (Pa. Cmwlth. 2007), the Firm created new law in the area of zoning
and land use planning in Pennsylvania. The Firm successfully argued to the
Commonwealth Court that there had been no finding that a variance granted
by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of Philadelphia was the minimum necessary
to obtain the relief being sought with the least modification possible. This
case has been the subject of various articles and has been discussed widely
at Continuing Legal Education Programs.
